Van Gogh-Goghs Successfully Predict Future!!!

Ripped from today's headlines: Mary-Kate Olsen has big kiss -- with Ben Kingsley. Here's a fair use snippet: "Brace yourself: In her upcoming movie, Mary-Kate Olsen locks lips with Ben Kingsley. Yes, the one-time adorable tyke turned teenage titan, and Gandhi... Olsen is now 21. Kingsley is 63. Their film, "The Wackness," is slated for release next year."

A mere seven years ago, we, The Van Gogh-Goghs, published this article on our website:
Call My Age-nt! : "VGG Films broke the secrecy surrounding their summer offering, "Zombie Perv: A Love Story." The film features Mary-Kate Olsen, 14, as a cemetery keeper's daughter who falls head over heels for "Gramps," a reanimated corpse played (in a marvelous piece of casting) by the actual reanimated corpse of William Hickey, who was 69 when he died in 1997."

and now it has come absolutely stone cold true!! More or less. Sorta. *Cough* The gist of the prediction is true. Even if it wasn't really a prediction. Look, Mary-Kate Olsen is kissing some dude old enough to be her grandfather!!! We predicted it. Totally!!!

MP3 Monday. OK, Tuesday. Whatever.

The Simpsons Movie is out! It's good, go see it. One of the best things about the Simpsons is that they've managed to live down two awful novelty albums, 1991's The Simpsons Sing the Blues, and 1998's The Yellow Album. Stick with making TV episodes, people! From the CD single here's "Deep, Deep Trouble," only it's the Full Dance Mix, done by DJ Jazzy Jeff!

Download (10.9 MB / 5:50)

The fine print: All downloads are provided for entertainment purposes only. After being entertained, you must delete the downloaded file. So... if you're never entertained, you never have to delete it! VGG.COM accepts no responsibility, for anything, ever... blah blah blah blah blah blah nobody reads this blah blah blah blah blah blah blah

NEXT WEEK ... Beats me. Suggestions?

WTF Friday - Burt Rutan's House!

Burt Rutan, who's he? He's a space pioneer, doofus! No, not back in them Apollo days, RIGHT NOW! He won the 2004 X-Prize with his SpaceShipOne, the first privately built spaceship that actually went into space! He's having some hard times right now, with an unfortunate explosion during a rocket test that killed three employees. Let's hark back to happier days of this aviation and space pioneer, back to 1989, when he let Popular Science into his custom designed pyramid house! Check out the scans (about 1 MB each):

Nice, eh? Custom-made trapezoidal pool table! Plexiglass water wheel! An Apple IIe just for the bathroom! Man, that's living! The big question is, does he still live there, and can somebody Google-map it for us?
