As some of you may or may not know, I have
completed my first comic book. It's called Another
Beautiful Day, and it premiered at
the Stumptown Comics Festival. It took me over a
year to write and illustrate this 63 page
book, and the reaction thus far has been unanimously
positive. I started writing the book during one of the
most difficult moments in my life, and the process of
making it is something that literally saved my life.
It's an extremely personal book, filled with secrets,
embarrassing and funny omissions, sadness, hope, fear,
and lots of cracking wise. Complete strangers have
told me they loved it, so I'm pretty sure you'll at
least dig it.
As much as I'd love to give all of you your own copy
for free, I can't. The book was printed on my dime,
and each one was hand bound by yours truly. If you're
